We opened Moringa in October 2017 to give visitors & people living in Siem Reap a relaxing pub-style restaurant to enjoy a craft beer or cocktail with a healthy and delicious bite to eat. We are located in the heart of Siem Reap down a sleepy street called Steung Thmei, tucked away from the hustle & bustle.
Moringa is a Cambodian superherb containing important amino acids & vitamins. In rural Cambodia families keep moringa trees in their gardens because the whole plant can be eaten or used in herbal medicines. It is drought-resistant and its seeds can be used to purify water, giving moringa its nickname: the miracle tree.
We use moringa in several of our dishes & drinks.
Moringa is the first bar in Siem Reap to offer Indochine craft beer on tap, brewed in small batches in Cambodia's capital city, Phnom Penh. We offer a Pilsener, a Belgian-style white beer and an authentic British-style India Pale Ale on draft. In bottles we have a Cambodian chocolate stout, three different IPAs, Beer Laos Gold, Singha Light, Guinness Foreign Extra and three different flavours of refreshing Southeast Asian cider.
We keep our kegs air-conditioned, use imported Czech chilling equipment, freeze our glasses & clean our lines religiously so your beer is always served crisp and icy cold. Even better, all our beers and ciders are 100% vegan-friendly!
